Vegetarian and Vegan Dining in Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik's menus lean heavily on fish and grilled meat, but a handful of restaurants — from a dedicated plant-based kitchen to a mountaintop terrace with a proper vegan bowl — make it easier than you'd expect.
Coastal Dalmatian cooking isn't built with vegetarians in mind, and a lot of Old Town menus still treat "vegetarian option" as a side salad. These five don't — either because the whole concept is plant-forward, or because the kitchen has clearly put thought into more than one non-meat, non-fish dish.
Soul Kitchen Dubrovnik
★ 4.79“Cauliflower steak and plant-based fusion bowls”
The clearest choice on this list — the menu is built around plant-based and vegetarian dishes first, with meat and fish as the side option rather than the other way around.
Restaurant Panorama
★ 4.70“Lamb shanks with panoramic Old Town views”
Not a vegetarian restaurant by concept, but the vegan bowl (tofu, fava, lentil, quinoa) gets specifically called out by vegan travelers, and the Mount Srđ view doesn't hurt.
Libertas Fish Restaurant
★ 4.83“Fresh catch of the day, Mediterranean style”
A seafood-focused menu, but one that explicitly lists vegan options rather than leaving you to ask.
Umi Teppanyaki
★ 4.79“Teppanyaki show-cooking set menu”
Teppanyaki is built around watching your food cooked to order — useful if you need to specify no meat/fish without it feeling like an afterthought.
Oyster & Sushi Bar Bota
★ 4.67“Fresh oysters from Mali Ston bay”
Mostly known for oysters and sushi, but vegan options are listed on the menu for anyone dining with a mixed group.
